About Lasta lowboard
The Lasta lowboard, part of a collection that exudes strength, durability, and timeless elegance. Named after the swallow (“Lasta” in Bosnian), the design captures the bird’s graceful essence, symbolizing lightness and movement. The console’s standout feature is its distinctive wooden fronts, where precisely shaped grooves form a flowing pattern that resembles a swallow’s wings in flight. These sculpted lines add depth and texture, emphasising the natural beauty of the wood and creating a dynamic interplay of light and shadow. With its solid construction and rich, organic character, the Lasta lowboard seamlessly blends functionality and artistry, making it a striking addition to any space.

Ado Avdagić, the founder of multidisciplinary design studio ‘Avado’ established in 2008 works on various projects ranging from furniture, lighting, interiors and creative direction. His design process is plan-driven. He contemplates the relationship between a human, nature and form in space generating functional, ergonomic and aesthetically convincing solutions that resist time. He believes that natural design principles should be knitted with innovative technology that may ultimately be used to create a better world.
