About Nila chaise lounge

The Nila Lounge Collection embodies Artisan’s mastery in furniture design, with the chaise lounge as its centerpiece. Defined by a pronounced orthogonal structure supporting an organic form, this piece strikes a balance between strength and elegance. Its refined wooden frame and distinctively shaped armrests create a unique visual identity, while soft transitions and a sense of lightness lend a timeless appeal. The upholstered seat rests on a leather base, featuring woven details that provide structural reinforcement where needed, an interplay of technical precision and poetic expression. Subtle metal accents serve both as decorative elements and structural components. Their gently curved lines complete the silhouette, adding visual emphasis and strength.

Regular Company is a multidisciplinary design studio whose work ranges from designing objects and spaces for international brands to developing brand identities and digital experiences. Their projects can be found in Hermès and Louis Vuitton stores, Apple offices, and Starbucks roasteries. In recent years, the studio has become increasingly involved in design consulting and strategic design across multiple industries - from furniture to the yacht and superyacht sectors. Their long-standing partnership with Artisan has resulted in some of the studio’s most prolific and recognisable work. For the Nila collection, Regular Company invited Neisako to contribute a complementary layer of expertise. Neisako brings a strong technical background, particularly in upholstery construction and soft-structure engineering. Their work goes beyond shaping volumes; it is rooted in understanding how materials perform under tension, compression, and long-term use. Upholstery is treated not as a surface applied to a structure, but as an integrated architectural component.
